Recently I have discovered a rare attraction to another culture,
one that is crossing the pacific Ocean, one that is so rich in traditions, foods,
history. A place where the samurais lived, people that respected the honor. The
same place where the manga born, drawings that are full of experiences, life
lessons, and the soul of the mangaka that is impressed to the paper. I would
like to go and visit that country that ghibli studios showed me in their
movies, that has a big support on the culture and traditions, where the
spiritual and physical converge into the quotidian life. If you’re
thinking that is Japan, you’re incorrect. Is the old Japan, and that Japan
everyday is disappearing more and more, consumed by the technology, the globalization
and the capitalism. A Japan where the people lose their selves into the internet,
and the last in technology devices. Absolutely I’ll hope that in the rural
places, that Japan still exists.

I have to agree with you, the scenario showed by Gihbli studios in their flims is wonderfull, like ''El Viaje de Shihiro'' the new universe where she is transported is awesome
ReplyDeleteFirst I think that was China but then I realise that Im wrong I hope you one day can visit Japan :)
ReplyDeleteJapan seems to have a nice culture! I also would like to visit this country and their beautiful temples, Hope you can visit it too!

ReplyDeleteI think that Japan can offer incredible landscapes and architecture. I would love to visit "the rural Japan" too. I'm not such a fan of mangas because i have never read one, but if you say that they are "full of life lessons", I will give it a shot.
